Editing & Grading

The final stage is to take all the rendered shots and grade them to enhance the look of the renders, and then edit all the shots together.  Most editing decissions come during the storyboarding as animation has to be planned out precisely.  Throughout the various stages test shots and early renders are put in the edit, with the final renders replacing them at the end.

Post Production

As with live action shoots, we will often add visual effects and motion graphics such as title sequences in post production after the main production is rendered and edited, this is really to polish off the final production, lighting effects such as flares and glows and particles effects such as smoke and twinkles can be added and tweaked in post production.
